Frank Fiedler Trio plus Mara Sejane plays Hardbop Classics

Most jazz lovers know bebop, but soon after came another big change. Some musicians felt that bebop, for all its sophistication, had drifted too far into the intellectual and lost its roots. So they brought blues back in, along with simpler forms and a preference for earthy, mid-tempo grooves.
That's how hardbop was born, and it proved hugely successful. We are gonna play some of our favorite hardbop tunes from Lee Morgan, Nat Adderley, Benny Golson and others.
